The Governors are seeking to appoint a flexible, reliable and enthusiastic Safeguarding Officer to join our Safeguarding and Well-Being Team to ensure staff and children across the school to maintain and develop standards of safeguarding and inclusion. Our students are at the heart of all that we do and we have worked hard to establish a culture where they feel safe, happy and wanting to succeed.

We are looking to appoint a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified teacher, ready to take on a leadership role in a highly successful Business, Economics and Computer Science Team. The successful candidate will be able to teach their specialist subject [Business, Economics or Computer Science] to A Level. A commitment to the development of creative and engaging teaching and learning is a must. The Team is well resourced and enjoys excellent facilities.

CURRICULUM LEADER COMPUTER SCIENCE

The School is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Curriculum Leader of Computer Science with the highest order leadership skills, to help ensure that this is a truly outstanding school with outstanding provision in this area. We are looking for an exceptional Computer Science specialist, with the ability to teach up to A Level and the capacity to contribute more widely to teaching across the Team and the School.

The successful candidate will lead an established team, contributing fully to maintaining excellence by inspiring and motivating both staff and students.

In particular, candidates should have:

  • The capacity to contribute to the development of the School’s ethos
  • The ability to inspire and motivate others and to manage change effectively
  • High expectations of students in terms of learning, achievement and behaviour
  • Enthusiasm for developing innovative approaches to learning, teaching and student participation
  • An excitement about the potential of new technologies to transform students’ learning experiences
  • An excellent track record of teaching and developing GCSE and A Level Computer Science and BTEC L3 in Information Technology demonstrated through exemplary examination results
  • A clear understanding of the current curriculum, assessment and pedagogical developments in Computer Science at all Key Stages
