The Board of Trustees are looking to appoint a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified Deputy Headteacher to join a highly successful Leadership Team. This would be a great opportunity for an existing Assistant Headteacher who is looking for a new challenge and develop their career.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner to join our established team as Deputy SENDCo.

The Successful candidate will support the SENDCo to lead, manage, develop and maintain high quality special educational needs provision which enables quality teaching, excellent learning outcomes and success for all pupils. The ability to teach English Language and English Literature, or Mathematics, to GCSE level is essential.

Would you like to train as a teacher whilst being paid to do so? Heston Community School offers the opportunity to gain a PGCE whilst being employed as a trainee teacher.

The School is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated graduate of Economics with a passion for teaching. The successful candidate will be given a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover the training period.

The applicants must have a degree in Economics and must not already hold a teaching qualification. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a clear commitment to a career in teaching.

HEARING IMPAIRED TEACHING ASSISTANT

The School is seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, an enthusiastic Hearing Impaired Teaching Assistant to compliment the work currently undertaken by the Hearing Impaired Unit. The skills required for the role include excellent communication and organisation, as well as being able to support in mainstream classes in a calm and professional manner. The right person will be accountable to the Head of the Centre of the Deaf.

Scale 5 posts involve a higher-level knowledge across a range of SEN. There would be a greater contribution to the planning and assessment of learning needs and a more proactive involvement in the provision of support.
