Mufti was the dress code on Friday 16 November for students and staff. The fee to abandon school uniform for the day was £1 and students made the most of the opportunity. An impressive £1,100 was raised for Children in Need and this contribution helped this year's BBC appeal raise a record£26.8 million.

This impressive contribution is just one of a number of donations from the School to a range of worthy causes. Recent fund-raising events have included a cake sale for Macmillan Cancer Trust, washing cars for Cancer Research, collecting clothes for the homeless and a variety of sponsored events for Shooting Star CHASE.
