Following an invitation from Year 8 student Harleen Sekhon (see previous News Story), author Chris Higgins visited Heston and hosted a series of creative writing workshops in the LRC.

Harleen had written to Chris as she had particularly enjoyed her book Would you Rather? 
 

In her letter, Harleen invited Chris to visit the School which she did on Friday 12 July. It was a busy day for Chris (pictured above and right) who passed on hints and tips to several groups throughout the day as well as signing copies of her books for the students.
