“Congratulations prefects … each student did amazingly well in their interviews and have shown great responsibility and determination to become a prefect. I have every confidence that they will do justice to the responsibilities given, and do me and the school proud. They are all proud owners of a bright red prefect badge so it will be hard to miss them around school!”  - Ms Sunita Jassal – Learning Coordinator Year 11.

Here are some comments from the prefects:

Megha Leal - 11 Orange:

"When I found out that I had been chosen as one of the prefects, I felt extremely proud of myself as it was a chance for me to help the student body, especially those in younger years, to be able to empower themselves and others around them. I'd like to influence people to make the right choices because it is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities."

Jasmin Nittu 11 White:

"Being a prefect is a privilege and I'm lucky to have received this opportunity. I will try my level best to fulfil my responsibilities which I have been given. I will work hard with the other prefects to bring a positive change to the school's atmosphere and surroundings

Gurpartap Saggu 11 White:

“I was extremely pleased upon hearing that I had been appointed as a school Prefect. I will be looking forward to working with students and staff to gain a valuable insight into the challenges and successes of being a Prefect and hopefully through my senior position, make the school a safer, securer and more enjoyable place to be.”

Anmol Sihota 11 Orange:

“Becoming a prefect meant handling a lot of responsibility and living up to the expectations of both the school and its pupils. I was excited to take on this role and act as a bridge between the two.”

Aloysious Gonsalves 11 Blue:

“There are many responsibilities when you are a prefect, as a prefect I feel honoured and delighted to be representing the school, I hope to make a difference and a change.”

Ida Danquah-King 11 Orange :

“I was extremely ecstatic to hear that I had been chosen to be a prefect, as I will be able to give back to the school by assisting in certain responsibilities. Also, I hope to change the current issues going on at school by acting as a role model for those in younger years. I hope to encourage more students to behave more appropriately.”
