Design Technology students in Years 7 and 8 are finalising their Autumn Term projects after several weeks designing then creating either a clock for Year 7 or a wooden box for Year 8.

Year 7 students have produced a variety of clock designs including a space rocket, a strawberry and a butterfly.

Year 8’s Resistant Materials project has seen them create boxes using comb joints and incorporating some clever drawer designs.

Ms Sally Crossman, Design Technology Teacher, said: “I have been very impressed with the effort and enthusiasm of DT students as well as their creativity and skills which have resulted in some excellent finished products.”
