On the 23 February, 13 students from Year 8 and 9 went to visit Wimbledon Magistrates Court, so that we could watch and experience what a magistrate court case would look like, in preparation for the mock magistrate's competition which will happen later on in March.

It was a great experience; we got to meet two actual magistrates, who helped us prepare and rehearse for the actual completion we watched three cases in total. So interesting seeing how an actual trial would take place. After we had watched the three cases, we were taken down to the youth courtrooms.

We all had an amazing time, and thank you to Mrs Ryan and Mr Slade for taking us there. Thank you to Mrs Ryan and Mr Abdulla for helping us prepare for the competition and organising the trip.
