HAY Poetry Writing Workshops for Young Women

I have been attending a young woman’s writing programme, run by Hounslow Action Youth charity [HAY]. I feel that we have accomplished a lot in the poetry workshops. Poetry enables us to express our feelings and say things that we may struggle to talk about. This also gives us a chance to have our voices heard as women, empowering us to fight against the present patriarchal society.
