NASA Professor Guest Speaker

Professor of Aerospace Engineering, Robyn Woollands from The University of Illinois, visited our school and spoke to us about her career journey, from working for NASA to her fantastic expeditions across Antarctica.

At NASA, she worked on various projects such as developing the Mars Rover. It was incredible to learn about how much she had accomplished in a short span of time. In addition, it was inspiring to see how much passion she had from a young age about Physics and space.

After changing her mind in University, she switched courses and was still able to pursue orbital mechanics — showing us it’s never too late to change your career options. The talk was phenomenal and valuable in proving that you can achieve anything you put your mind to!
