BTEC students were out gaining valuable work experience over the summer holidays.  Students were placed at Hounslow Local Authority office, a local GP Practice and a well known solicitor.  Students were given a stipend to support the acquisition of clothing and other materials to make sure that they were ready for the world of work.  Vanessa in Year 13 was particularly happy to learn about the varied tasks carried out by the Hounslow Housing Team and how they serve the thousands  of customers in the borough’s housing stock.  Kiranjit Sedana in Year 13 thought the experience provided real insight into the demands of the workplace and feels that being given this opportunity was the highlight of her summer.
