Paul Sloane achieved a first in Engineering at Cambridge University. He has had a successful career at many high tech companies, including IBM and has written over 20 books including “How to be a brilliant thinker” and “Think like an Innovator”. He boasts over 42,000 followers on twitter.

Mr Sloane gave our year 12 students an entertaining and inspiring talk on the importance of setting goals, networking and how to be promoted. One of his key messages was “Successful people choose to be successful, through hard work, getting noticed and taking risks.”
