This year, Heston Community School took part in the Count on Us Secondary Challenge. The exciting challenge involves over 80 schools from around London and aims to ensure a focus on three key areas of fluency in mathematics: geometry, number and algebra.

Students in year 8 and 9 prepared for the competition by attending the weekly ‘Challenge Club’, five of these students were selected to represent the school. On behalf of the Maths Department, we would like to commend all the students on their dedication and hard work as well as say a massive congratulations to the team for coming 4^th place in the semi-finals.
