We are looking to appoint an exceptional scientist, teacher and leader to the post of Curriculum Leader of Science. Working with the Senior Leadership Team, the successful applicant will shape the strategic direction of the Science curriculum to ensure excellent outcomes and co-curricular provision.

The School welcomes applicants from any science-based specialism. The successful candidate will lead an established team, contributing fully to maintaining excellence by inspiring and motivating both staff and students.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • The confidence and ability to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics at all levels
  • The professional characteristics to be an excellent role model and classroom practitioner, who is prepared to be innovative in their own teaching
  • The experience to manage an extremely able team, or the ability to develop coaching, mentoring and leadership skills with our support
  • A clear understanding of the current curriculum, assessment and pedagogical developments relating to Science at all Key Stages

We are looking to appoint a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well qualified, teacher to join a successful and thriving Social Sciences Team. The successful candidate will be committed to the development of creative and engaging teaching and learning which will instil in students a passion for learning and change their lives through learning in Social Sciences. The Social Sciences Team is well resourced and enjoys excellent facilities.

The ability to teach ‘A’ Level Psychology is essential, as is the willingness to teach Sociology. All colleagues are expected to contribute actively to a thriving extra-curricular programme and wider school initiatives. Applications from experienced or Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome.
