Exam Invigilator

Summary of Details:        

The School is seeking to appoint casual Examination Invigilators who are able to work sessions between the hours of 8.30am – 5:00pm.  Duties include supervision of on-line tests, the invigilation for external examinations (you may also be asked to scribe or read for individual students after a qualifying period).  A good standard of education is essential along with general administrative and computing expertise, including familiarity with the Internet.

We are looking to appoint a positive, dynamic, enthusiastic and well qualified, teacher to join a successful and thriving Social Sciences Team. The successful candidate will be committed to the development of creative and engaging teaching and learning which will instil in students a passion for learning and change their lives through learning in Social Sciences. The Social Sciences Team is well resourced and enjoys excellent facilities.

The ability to teach ‘A’ Level Psychology is essential, as is a willingness to contribute actively to the thriving extra-curricular programme and wider school initiatives. Applications from experienced or Newly Qualified Teachers are welcome.

HEARING IMPAIRED TEACHING ASSISTANT

The School is seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, an enthusiastic Hearing Impaired Teaching Assistant to compliment the work currently being done by the Hearing Impaired Centre. The skills required for the role include excellent communication and organisation, as well as being able to support in mainstream classes in a calm and professional manner. The right person will be accountable to the Head of the Hearing Impaired Centre.

Scale 5 posts involve a higher level knowledge across a range of SEN. There would be a greater contribution to the planning and assessment of learning needs and a more proactive involvement in the provision of support.
