SUPREME COURT VISIT

Year 12 students visited the Supreme Court on 17 December 2018.  We were given the opportunity to tour the facilities and learn about the history and work of the Supreme Court.  We also learnt about some of its most recent rulings that impact on politics and set precedents for the way courts and the justice system operates.  Students were also afforded the privilege of listening in to the day’s proceedings heard by Justices Hale, Kerr and Reed regarding Northern Ireland devolution issues.  A very rewarding experience for all including looking at the extensive Art collection held by the Supreme Court.
