BBQ success despite the weather

Students and staff braved the cold to enjoy a "Summer BBQ"

 BBQ with 3 girlsThe weather didn’t put off students and staff enjoying a barbecue lunch created by Wilson Jones, the School’s caterers.

A variety of barbecue favourites were available and, although it wasn’t perfect barbecue weather, al fresco dining proved to be very popular.

 

Ryan Moore, Wilson Jones’ Head Chef at Heston, said: “We are very keen to offer our customers good quality food using fresh produce and ingredients and to create extra interest in our menus by organising a variety of special events - the barbecue was the first of many I hope to run here at Heston and was a great success.”

 Ryan, pictured left rather optimistically wearing sunglasses and shorts, has recently taken over as Head Chef at Heston and has over 10 years experience in a professional kitchen after studying Catering and French cuisine at College. He is very keen to get new ideas from all his customers both for the menus his team create and on special themed days students would like him to run in the future.
