Heston students are helping The Children's Society to carry out an international survey on children's well-being. The survey has already involved over 30,000 children and is collecting data on children's lives and daily activities, their time use and in particular their own perceptions and evaluations of their well-being. The purpose is to improve children's well-being by creating awareness among children, their parents, their communities, opinion leaders, decision makers and the general public.

Well bing survey completionYear 8 students completed the survey that has been created, and will be analysed, by the Social Policy Research Unit at the University of York who are working with The Children's Society on this project. The students felt the questions did explore relevant and important things about their lives.
