 GCSE students celebrate their resultsGCSE - 2016

Year 11 students continue to produce excellent GCSE results with 75% achieving 5 or more GCSE passes at grades A* to C and 64% achieving 5 or more A* to C passes including English and Maths

This year the government has introduced two new national performance measures for KS4 called Progress 8 and Attainment 8. Changes to these measures mean that results are measured differently for the first time this year.

Post-16 students also deserve congratulations with 47% of A2 grades awarded being the top grades of A*, A and B. As a consequence the overwhelming majority of students were able to go on to courses of their choice at their chosen university.
