Year 11- Post 16 Pathways Evening

We have pleasure in inviting you to attend the above consultative evening on Thursday 27^th January from 6pm until 8pm in the Hogarth Building.

Students in Year 11 will soon be completing their compulsory period of education. It is very important that they should now be considering and planning their next step.

Teachers will be present to inform you about the types of courses available in their subject area and what they can lead on to in terms of careers and further education. Each Curriculum Area will have displays exhibiting course materials, textbooks, examples of student work, past exam papers etc.  Students who are already following these courses will also be available for you to consult.

The decision whether or not to embark on one or two years of post compulsory education is an important one. This consultative evening will help students and their parents/carers to make an informed decision based on all the facts and information. We hope that you will be able to attend. All students will be provided with a Post 16 Prospectus at the Pathways Evening and we strongly advise you and your child to visit the school website for further information on the courses that we offer.
