Science Club students step into the future!

On Thursday 5th July fifteen students from years 7 and 8 attended the science club trip to the ‘Make the Future Live’ event at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.  Everyone loved the displays and activities and enjoyed learning about how developments in science and engineering could be used to create a more sustainable future.

Highlights of the day were the virtual reality flying experience, Science Rapper Jon Chase and an Energy show on the main stage.  Students also enjoyed constructing and racing cars powered by salt water and watched full size go-carts designed and built by teams from different universities being raced on the track.
