On Friday 3rd March, ten students from year 10 were invited to Sky to take part in a Sky Academy Skills Workshop. 

Sky Academy Skills Workshop is a half-day interactive learning experience giving students the chance to use the latest broadcast technology to make a TV report on subjects they are studying at school. Students received a behind the scenes tour at Sky with hands on experience of their purpose-built studios where the students write, produce and direct their own short news bulletin.

Students were supported by a specialist team of writers and producers who helped them unlock their creativity, communication, planning and teamwork skills as they explore topics linked to the curriculum, such as cyber-bullying and natural disasters, supported students.
