    On behalf of the Governing Body, I am pleased to announce that Mr Ranjit Berdesha, currently Acting Headteacher at Heston Community School, has been appointed as the school’s permanent Headteacher.

  • Post 16 Easter 2017 Intervention Programme

    In order to ensure that your child achieves the best possible grade, Post 16 Interventions during the Easter Break will be running within particular Curricular Areas.

  • We had a brilliant day at the college! We started the day off by arriving at the college and attending a lecture that introduced us to anaesthesia. Many anaesthetists across the country took parts in giving the lecture, they stated what their jobs were and talked thoroughly about their journey of how they specialised.

  • Year 9 - 12-hour STEM project

    Five year 9 students took part in a 12-hour STEM project to produce a model hydraulic arm. The students took this further by modifying their hydraulic arms with electromagnets to lift magnetic objects.

  • Sky Academy Skills Workshop

    On Friday 3rd March, ten students from year 10 were invited to Sky to take part in a Sky Academy Skills Workshop. 

  • British Science Week

    To celebrate British Science Week 2017 the Heston Science Department put on a series of fun demonstrations on Wednesday 15th March. Students saw flaming rockets, set their teachers hands on fire and got vacuum packed.

  • Year 10 Students visit Royal Holloway University

    On 7th March 2017 a group of Year 10 students, accompanied by Mrs Virk, Mrs Sas and Miss Jonnais, visited Royal Holloway University.

  • Children’s author Cathy Cassidy came to school to deliver an engaging talk to Year 7 and 8 girls on Thursday where she revealed her favourite subject was not English or Art – it was daydreaming! She even offered to share secret tips on how to daydream undetected at school to anyone who emailed her through her website www.cathycassidy.com
