Les Edwards Memorial Service
Tuesday13th October - 4pm in the School Hall

Mr Les Edwards, was a much respected and very popular teacher who retired from the position of Post-16 Learning Co-ordinator (Head of Sixth Form) at the end of the 2011-12 school year having inspired students and colleagues alike during his 34 years at Heston Community School. He sadly passed away on Thursday 28 August 2014 following a battle with cancer.

The Sixth Form Common Room will be named after Les and a bench and a tree will also be reminders of his contribution to Heston Community School.

After the ceremony in the Hall, a tour of the school will give past students a chance to see the new buildings and go up to the Common Room and see the plaque in Les’ honour.

Past colleagues, students, parents and friends are all welcome together with the current School Community.
