Standards and Expectations

We expect the highest standards from everyone.

• Uniform - look smart, wear it properly. School detentions and clip on ties for all those who cannot wear a tie properly!
• Planners - get it out and put it on your desk every lesson. Homework must be clearly written in everyday. No such thing as 'none set'.
• Equipment - as a minimum always bring 2 pens, a pencil, a ruler, a rubber, a calculator in a pencil case. Year detentions if you don't!
• Homework - 2 or 3 pieces set per day (including Review & Revision). Failure to complete HW = 30 minute detention. Expect homework on Friday!
• Attendance - always try your best to be in school every day. If you're not in, you're missing out.
• Punctuality - Arrive early to school, more than 1 late per half-term = detention. Arrive early to lessons. 15 minute detention for arriving late.
• Vivos - set yourself a high target. Look at the website - what would you like to buy with your Vivomiles? Do you know your login details?
• The 5 'Rs' - the most important thing in school is your attitude. We will be focussing on the 5 most important attitudes known as the 5 'Rs'. (Readiness, Resourcefulness, Resilience, Responsibility, Reflectiveness.)
