Sims Learning Gateway for Parents

Welcome to our new initiative called Sims Learning Gateway!

This is an exciting new tool that will allow you, as Heston parents and carers, to play a more active part in your child's education.   It will allow greater dialogue between yourselves, teachers and students.

In the first instance, you will be able to see attendance and attainment grades of your child from the comfort of your own home or even from work.  This means that you can check on your child's Am and Pm attendance at any time during the day.  All your child's data Harvest results will be available to you at all times, allowing you to compare your child's progress term by term. You will be able to identify issues that may be of concern to you and contact the relevant teachers directly to make appointments. As time goes by we will be adding more information to our Learning Gateway to fully maximise this tool.

To access the Sims Learning Gateway you need to contact the school for a specific training date which will be done on yearly basis or download the training pack.  Once you have downloaded the training pack, email SLG support for your logon and password.  The email must contain your child's name and registration group. 

Once you have accessed the Sims Learning Gateway please check all details and email the SLGsupport if there are any alterations needed.
