Student Voice
To help us make informed choices, students are involved in providing feedback and ideas at many levels in the school. Every Tutor Group has 2 representatives on the Year Council from which representatives are then elected to the School Council and the four sub-committees: Teaching and Learning, Healthy Living, Charity, Ethos and Environment. Meetings take place during the school day, twice a half term. Each committee has a specific brief.
School Council
The School Council has oversight of the activities of all the sub-committees. Each half term members of the sub-committees feed back to the school council on progress in their respective areas, which in turn is then reported to the Strategy and Leadership Team termly. The Council are consulted on school issues not covered by the other sub-committees e.g. giving feedback on School policies etc. The Jack Petchey Award Scheme is administered by the council who choose the winners each term.
