Modern Foreign Languages at Heston Community School


Key Stage 3

In Year 7, all students study French in mixed ability groups. In Year 8, some students get the opportunity to study German or Spanish in addition to French. Students who do French with German or Spanish in Year 8 will continue to study these two languages in Year 9.

Key Stage 4

Students have the opportunity do a GCSE in French, German or Spanish in Years 10 and 11.

Key Stage 5

Students have the opportunity to do AS / A level in French, German or Spanish provided that there is a sufficient number of students for the course to run.
